How the Social and Corporate Sectors Enable Change – Together

The Zermatt Summit attended the Conference of its partner Ashoka where new fellows were announced and – Kailash Satyarthi Welcomed new Ashoka Fellows with his “Each one of you is a changemaker” speech. Speech can be seen here.

The Zermatt Summit has been partners with Ashoka since 2010 when one of its European leaders, Arnaud Mourod became an advisor. In 2014 Ashoka and the Zermatt Summit collaborated on the organization of the Changemakers Social & Business Co-Creation – European Competition and hosted the Awards Ceremony with, Fondation Guilé, DPD and Boehringer Ingelheim.

This competition was designed to be an online collaborative competition to source, highlight and catalyze the most innovative co-creation projects in Europe led by social-mission organizations and traditional businesses. These projects illustrated new forms of interaction between civil society and business to create shared social and economic value for the Common Good.
