He holds a business degree from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland and a masters degree in Environment and Development from the University of Cambridge, UK.
His professional stations include Fairtrade International (Member of the Board), the Max Havelaar Foundation Switzerland (CEO), the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Head of Division, Multilateral Financial Institutions) and the World Bank (Advisor to the Swiss Executive Director).
