At the age of 14 he succeeded in electrifying his village in Sierra Leone thanks to a grid of batteries made of metallic waste material. He also constructed a radio station for his village out of electronic waste. Invited to MIT at the age of 16, he embodies frugal or «jugaad» innovation and will thus illustrate the presentation
of Navi Radjou by his personal example.
